Adult stem cells are a safe and non-controversial source for stem cells and do not have any of the ethical issues connected with embryonic cells. Adult stem cells can be harnessed from various tissues including bone marrow, umbilical cord and cord blood, have amazing potential for providing therapeutic benefits for a number of incurable disorders.
